Government Girls Degree College (GGDC), Kota is one of the nine, Govt. Colleges opened by State Uttar Pradesh govt. in Saharanpur district. The college was established in year 2003 in Kota village, 18 kms away from Saharanpur city to facilitate quality higher education free of cost to the girls of rural background. GGDC is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and is recognized by the UGC under 2 (f) and 12 (B). The college follows the curriculum designed by the CCS University that covers the basic and applied aspects with emphasis on knowledge, skills and societal development.
