★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really clean and tidy railway station. Umaria is one the most backward districts in India, still the railway station offers best in class cleanliness. It is one of the few places in India, from which the Tropic of Cancer passes. Daily trains from Delhi (hazrat Nizamuddin) comes here, one of the best train to visit Bandhavgarh. From here, the bus stand is a mere 2 km, auto charges 50 Rs to take you to bus stand. From there, one can get buses till Bandhavgarh National Park

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazed to see the cleanliness at the station. One of the clean small town stations I have visit, the drawback is that you won't find any snacks or food stalls at the platform in case of emergency.

At a distance of about 30 km from this station, the famous national park Bandhavgarh is located, due to which tourists keep visiting this station.There is also a parking arrangement outside the station and toilets and bathrooms etc. are also inside the station .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite cleaner railway station because local and foreign tourists alight here for Bandhavgarh National park. This station now has two foot over bridges. One negative point to be noted is that platforms aren't equipment with LED boards which show the coach composition of the train, so it's always condition of rush while finding coaches when train arrives here. This concern becomes big when trains don't take halt more than 2 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Umaria Station is a small station with 2 platforms. Usually major trains hault here for 5 minutes . The station is clean. The Railway station is just 2-4 kms from the town. For visiting Bandhavgarh Umaria is the only nearest station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laid back and rustic. No facilities apart from toilet. But no need as well. Tiny, little raj Era station building standing amidst forested area. The greenery and solitude is the attraction.
