★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to spend your hard-earned money to buy camera or camera gears, this is the only authentic place in the entire Kolkata (except direct dealers) where you can dump. Don't even try to think twice to purchase anything from metro gali. Only (may be)10 out of 100 are new products there (metro gali), and you may not be the luckiest enough to fall among those 10. Believe me I had bought so many gears from there to save couple of bucks and eventually fall in their trap. Most of the products are from grey market or second hand (that I had realized later during use). I could not registered my product for warranty or other purposes. Poor performance of the camera or other gears are another side of the same coin. Now your choice....

It was well in my budget and I bought it. The camera has greatly boosted my interest and excitement towards photography. Later I had tallied the price from few other stores and found it was the cheapest. I like the behavior of the owner and have visited the store couple of times for accessories.

They mostly sell new gears and rarely used ones. They will demo it in front of you and suggest necessary things. Advising to buy from store instead of online, as the price comes lower in shop and warranty also given correctly.
