Ever wished you had an American Grandma who stitches the fabric of her own couches and also knows her way around a brunch table? If your answer is yes, then head on over to Grandmama's Cafe. This branch is a little difficult to find. While it is inside High Street Phoenix, it's situated further inside than most restaurants. It doesn't seem that the restaurant gets super busy, so you can do a walk in. The ambiance is as cozy as your grandmother's house. There's lots of lighting and plenty of comfy couches. The walls are covered with quirky art and the dining area is well air conditioned. My food buddy started off with the Bird's Eye Chili Omelette which came with a side of vinaigrette dressed salad. The omelette was really good and is a great choice if you like spicy food. We also went for the Ping Pong Cottage Cheese which is a small plate of fried goodness with a side of well made marinara sauce. The dish I was most excited about was the Eggs Florentine. I love a good poached egg. Unfortunately, this egg's yolk wasn't anywhere near runny which is kind of the beauty of a Florentine. For dessert, we went in for some good ole Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream. The filling was amazing and the crust was spot on. However, they do top off the pie with some caramelized crumbles which are teeth numbingly sweet. We had to scrape off these crumbles to enjoy our dessert. For drinks, we went with some Ices Americano and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Both drinks are good for a brunch setting. If you love sweet drinks, go with the Vietnamese Coffee. Service wasn't the best. I don't know why our server was confused about the menu. Whenever we requested to know what was in a dish, his expression was blank. The ambiance is good but the food can improve owing to the price. If Grandmama works on their poached egg capabilities, I'd be happy to visit them again.

Ever been to Grandmama’s cafe in Mumbai ? It is one of the most loved cafes in Mumbai that has outlets in various parts of the city. Started from one outlet in Dadar in the year 2015, they are much loved for their food, ambience and service. It is a place so vibrant and lively that reminds you of your childhood with their chic interiors. They have a variety of dishes incorporated in their menu that satisfies the cravings of all age groups. This place is definitely worth a visit when you visit Mumbai next ? We tried their Grandmamas chicken cannelloni and Santa Fe salad bowl. Cannelloni was pretty decent but loved the salad bowl the most ! It was simple yet so satisfying. Would definitely love to try everything on their menu someday !

I love the homely, noise-free, cosy ambience of this place. There is something intrinsically soothing about it. Their small bites in small plates is also quite an innovative concept and allows a person to try out many more items from the menu at a lower cost. The soups, and hummus platter were especially well appreciated.

It has white background with floral pieces on wall and fabric. Ambience can be called cute and floral. Seating options are sofas, benches and chairs. Service is prompt and staff is friendly and quick. Food is good, we liked hummus pita bread alot. Nachos are good too.

Pros:Nice place, good ambience, good food, reasonable prices, good variety of multi cuisine. Cons: 150 Rs Parking charges are hefty. They tell you that you can't share a soup so don't give a spare bowl. Which is ridiculous as we all share all the dishes. It's not an unlimited buffet where 2 people can't share. Music can be a bit loud for tolerance. But they do reduce the volume of u request. They charge 10% service charge which has to be voluntary and not mandatory. You have to tell them that you don't want to pay it and the remove it from the bill. As paying 1000 Rs tip on a bill of 10,000 I feel is very high. Plus it probably doesn't reach the poor waiters finally. You may tip the waiters in cash as per your wish. Weekends are busy. Overall, a good experience. I went with my joint family of 10 and we enjoyed it.

Good food. Nice decor . Whitewashed walls with graffiti written everywhere. Kids will love this place. Pizza and fondue were superb. Lots of options to choose from. Good service. Reasonably priced too. Clean toilets. Parking is free on weekdays. Weekends and nights it's chargeable.
