★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to plan a special dinner date, this is an amazing place for it. It has beautiful ambience and scrumptious food.They serve only on reservation basis, so get the reservation first before visiting. They have two sets, 5 or 7 course meal. They have vegan options too. I am putting the pictures in collage for quick reference of our 7 course dinner, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to experience European-style multiple-course dining, this is the place to go. The ambience is cosy and subdued, with only 5 tables in all, ideal for intimate dinners. For birthdays and anniversaries, they will provide a little cake and candle to add to your celebration. One thing I disliked was the music. They played a kind of old-time fast jazz on loop, which detracted from the ambience, but I'm sure they keep changing the music. The staff is well-trained -- they speak better English than most Indians! -- and the overall experience is posh and high-class. They also serve wine and beer at standard pub rates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic experience due to bad food. We had food poisoning next day after dinner at this place.
Food Quality - Both veg and non veg, except for the salad, none of the items were good. Not even average tasting food.
The below expectation was minimal requirement for the price tag of 3500 per head for a 5 course meal. 5 star hotels provide much better service for this price.
Ambience - very poor maintenance of the property. The pond is so dirty and not cleaned for months. Surrounding area is not cleaned at all.
Chair - it is a very uncomfortable chair
Previous day I had to remind them about our booking and they had missed it when confirmed 2 days back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants here in Bangalore. It is not only food. It is like a composition. Even an ordinary salad dressing simply tastes like a work of art. We had also 3 kids with us. They prepared special food for them as they are really young. So we were all happy. Thank you for this great food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best exclusive dining experience in Bangalore. The 7course meal is curated and talks to your taste buds like nothing else will! Every dish has a distinct flavour you can't miss. It's a small restaurant with very minimal seating and hence reservation is a must. You can also give your food preferences in advance. You will have enough time in between the courses to take a walk around their tiny garden beautifully lit by mood lights. The table set up is beautiful to say the least. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a romantic dinner with their partner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contrary to the previous post , we celebrated a dear friend’s birthday at Grasshopper last night. I contacted Grasshopper two weeks ago to plan for this dinner to set the menu and request few additional requirements. We were a group of 11 with many different requirements and specifications.. allergies, food preferences , likes dislikes and specific diets. I must say it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Sonali and Chef Touseef. They catered to all our requests and offered us an amazing 7 course menu. I was travelling and despite my busy schedule they were extremely accommodating.
Last night at dinner the service team was exceptionally kind and tried their best to cater to all our requests. While we were to start the dinner at 7pm, we were fashionably late and started the dinner at 8.15pm. We were informed earlier that their closing time was 10 pm but they did not put pressure on us or serve us in a hurry.
Each course (I can speak for the non-vegetarians) was delicious and was throughly enjoyed by everyone. Restaurants like Grasshopper require prior information if we have an additional member joining and it does become difficult for them to cater to last minute entires and changes. One of our dinner attendees decided to bring their nanny to the dinner and although this was not communicated to Grasshopper they tried their level best despite their limitations to cater to this person. The nanny was offered food and beverage to the best of their ability. This was very kind of them as we had by then completely disregarded the terms and conditions they had told us in advance. As we arrived late we ended up staying until 10.45, 45 minutes after their closing time. Many service staff live far away and need to rely on public transport and yet they did not rudely throw us out like many restaurants sometimes do or resort to tactic of dimming lights etc etc.
The only thing I can fault grasshopper over last night dinner experience is that they should have more ice to beat this summer heat and also perhaps offer some soft drinks to non drinkers. Other than this I think the service, the food the location was delightful and really a wonderful evening to remember.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in a mood for a peaceful dining experience with fantastic service and food, this is the place to be.
Make sure you call in advance before your special date to make reservations and confirmation for the same.
Coming to the food itself, we had the 7 course meal and we tried both the veg and the non-veg and both were mind blowing. Take time to enjoy every course as your tastebuds relish the beautiful mix of flavours.
The courses were appropriately spaced out and the portion was perfect.
They also added in some desserts as it was a celebration dinner for us.
The host and the owner and the chef all came back for a quick chat and that was wonderful too.
Cannot wait to come back again! ❤️
