★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhitarkanika is an excellent place to visit with friends and family, specially for nature lovers. The scenic beauty and the natural ambience of the forest is mesmerising. Stay at gupti was good, food was just moderate, which needs to get better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The nature camp was good but people do not prefer to stay here unless they don't get a booking in the core area. The guest house is really good and spacious. Grocery store and sweet shop is also available here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gupti nature camp as a staying option is a basic one at best. Rooms are big enough as double room (including child). Location is not a very scenic one - Habilakhati best, then Dangmal, Gupti last within Bhitarkanika. But it's located in between the other two, Habilakhati is 3 hours and Dangmal 2 hours by boat one way. Cost includes food during stay, but menu is not great - both quality and spread wise. Fish we had was not great quality, chicken was not available even once during our 2 day stay. We stayed in Eco tourism Odisha resorts in Daringbadi and Satkosia earlier, found they were much better location and cuisine wise. All in all, this should be your last option to stay in Bhitarkanika

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a comfortable stay at the nature camp for our tour to Bhitarkanika. Food was included in the stay. The staff was good and courteous. Food was good and served hot both in lunch and dinner. Room was good and comfy. We booked the boat for our safari after talking with the attendant. Was easier to reach here via referring to Google maps from Bhubaneswar. The evening snacks was served hot and it was tasty. It was our bad luck that it was cloudy with no sign of sun, hence couldn't see much crocodiles in the banks. But it was a nice safari after all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If one wants to go to bhitarakanika, this is one of the main entry points. But there's no reason to stay here. One should either stay at the other 2 nature camps in bhitarakanika - Dangamal or Habilakhati. Also there's a significant expense to be borne for travel into bhitarakanika in boats. You don't save anything by staying in Gupti. But will enjoy the experience much more by staying in other 2 places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to travel Habalikhati then you have to travel from Gupti. There is no reason to stay here since it is not a camp.
Dangamal and habalikhati are much better options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad hospitality. The care taker always gives wrong info. Even though Private boats are available with Rs 2500, he is forcing to use govt boats with cost 5800.
For 2 people, they are providing only 1 blanket, 1 towel which is completely disgusting. Lunch is kind of okay. Dinner is not good.
They are preparing food in an unhygienic place.
Better book "Dangamala". Site view/Cottages, all are good there.
In Gupti, cottage also not there ..Its a building. You can't feel the Camp experience.
