The teachers always encouraged us to take part in different cultural and external activities, like, sports, singing, dancing, recitations, debates so on and so forth. We are encouraged to think and expressed our individualistic approach towards our subject as well as our lives. Thanks to all my teachers who taught me to be humble and confident. Thanks to my school where I learnt to be myself and held my head high with pride to say that the name of my school is Garia Harimati

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All my relatives are passout of this school....they are now well-settled in their respective workplaces...this was I think for the respected principal Madam Urmila Saha.....she was very well established as a history teacher....as well as she was well known for her ability to maintain the school discipline and was also the sole authority of the school .....during her time the school gained huge popularity....but now due to the absence of good quality teachers and students the standard of the school is not up to the mark and now the school has not been able to keep up its standard which it was previously....

It's a 12th standard school but ambience is not favourable because of excessive noise. Many govt. exam are conducted in this school.
