★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Improvements required, there are many things looking as old. Maintenance properly not done, some people crossing a lane directly without using overbridge, an accident happens any time. There are a few vendors and you can't buy many things,
Overall, this is an average railway station required maintenance, and here checking required because of works done properly or not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Small railway station with 2 platforms.
2. It has AC waiting room, 2nd class waiting room, Ladies waiting room.
3. Waiting room washroom in not clean, they are really dirty.
4. Station platforms are neat and clean.
5. Very close to IIT Kharagpur, distance between them is of approx. 2.5 km.
6. Transport system is not that great.
7. Interesting thing is, it is having water vending machine at platform no. 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small station with hardly any food or teal stall. Since Kharagpur Railway station is under construction & modification this railway station is operating on its behalf & trains via kharagpur are diverted to this station for the time being.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nearest railway station to IIT Kharagpur .all the facilities are available as per the requirements like high speed WiFi AC and NON AC waiting rooms staffs for cleaning the passenger areas and other benefits of the passengers who are travelling .But still there is work on progress as the station previously did not had any stoppages for the express trains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cleanly maintained...taxi service available outside station basic amnesties available... canteen facilities too available in station...you can get food ...rates are nominal ...station is fully surrounded by natural greenery.. reservation counter available timing is from 0800 to 1400 hrs sunday closed
