Only two platforms are there, so it is very easy to board your train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From 2017 it has been doing good because of some long journey trains are halting here like Rajdhani Express, Neelachal Express and Purusottom express, earlier they used to go Kharagpur Station people used board from there now Hijli station is doing that. Station is very neat & clean it has 2 platform and four railway track in between .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Important station before Kharagpur junction. Several times I have visited the place. It is also the station/ gateway to I. I. T, Kharagpur. IIT campus is about 500 metres away. A village like calm you can feel here. Have a visit.

It may be the result as station is not crowded at any time......hence it proved once again -Too many people bring too many hazards.... Which can make a place ultimately awful ..... Even an effort to keep as it is can fail against too many people.Example-other big station
