You can go Kolkata ,Haldia and Digha from this station..all type of local and express train stop here...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station Master and RPFs is not active. People are entertainment on platform without platform tickets. The without ticket peoples are occupied the all seating capacity but the passengers are suffered. Toilets are not clean and on bad conditions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The overbridge stairs contain the pictures of boats, ships , I still don't get why they are there. But it looks pretty cool. And the station is quit clean and tidy....
Rather it's quiet and peaceful.
Tamluk is devotional place. Many beautiful places are there to visit. Looking forward to visit there again... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tamluk Rail Station is a very clean and well maintained Rail Station at East Medinipore District of West Bengal.
Cleanliness:
Very clean station, probably cleanest part of the town.
Washroom:
Clean wash room is available for male and female just opposite to the ticket counter.
Trains you can get here:
Both mail as well as passenger trains have stoppage here. So this station has an important role for connectivity.
Distance from Bus Stand:
It is about 1.5 km far from Tamluk Hospital More Bus Stand.
Escalator:
No escalator is available here, only pedestrian foot over bridge is there. So, you need to care when there is an aged passenger.
Coach number display:
Coach number display at particular coach location is not available here. Hence, you need to ask station manager prior to get the desired coach location otherwise, you need to rush at the arrival of the train.
Enquiry counter:
I did not notice any enquiry counter when I entered the station. In case of any quarry you can contact station manager's office at platform no 1.
