★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a daily commuter with a sdah quarterly ticket .Better,faster than taking a bus
Must improve on
1frequency
2punctuality especially trains to ddj,NH ,hasnabad,chokri rails
3washroom and drinking water facilities needs a revamp
Lastly I had another question why is of no 1 unused for local trains? People often miss their trains while going to pf2&3 through the f.o.b

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and huge platform...relatively big waiting area...however the ticket counters are worse among the worst. Extremely slow and inexperienced people at the counters topped with inexcusably bad attendance makes it hard for morning passengers to avail the trains due to the huge queue which often reaches outside the station.

. After construction of newly collapsed bridge it was a joining point to come closer to south. New bridge is going to take a longer time than scheduled.When finished this station will get its honour. to join with Metro which is hope for commuters

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Majherhat railway station is the nearest station of behala taratala area . This station connects budge budge, ballygunge and sealdah by budge budge sealdah local .
This station is a main part of circular railway system which connects princep ghat ,Kolkata Station and Dumdum Junction and after dum dum some train goes to madhyamgram ,some naihati, Barackpore,Barasat .This circular trains are generally arrived and departed from platform no 4 and 5 .
To avail this station a private car can reach the main gate of the station but public transit will drop you in front of taratala Mint from there you need to take a walk for 5 min.
To avoid queue you may book your tickets by UTS app and QR code printed here and by railway smart card also.
