There are alot of train passing through this station like- Howrah to Medinipur, Howrah to Purulia, Kgp to Asansol, etc. It's under of Kharagpur devision. But UTS ticket machine was damaged. ATM is also available here. All express train are stopping this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice station you can get newspaper n magazines here. There is ample parking space you can get a monthly pass also if you commute daily. You can get e rickshaw from here to bear by places.

Trains of various routes local and express passes through it.
Popular and busy rail station contains heavy and medium crowd varies time by time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Midnapore Railway station is important & very useful station for people. The environment inside the station & outside the station are very clean and tidy. Recently platform no 4 has been added to the station. One can easily get toto, rickshaw, van etc. from here (at late night also)
From here the train routes are-
1. Midnapore- Howrah (Via Kharagpur)
2. Midnapore - Purulia (via Bankura)
3. Midnapore - Asansol (Via Adra)
4. Midnapore - Jhargram (Via Kharagpur)
