★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can buy nearly everything you want. And this place contains educational institutes nearby the hooghly railway station and mostly you can find and fullfil your everyday needs at a very little distance if, next and very good point about this place is it contains many religious places as well as picnic spots at reasonable rate, relaxation spots , this place also contains a water park near Hooghly railway station and access-ability to public transport at a cheaper rate is big plus point and roads are good and maintained except some patches of road, women safety is maintained here. Traffic can be little bit of headache near the crossings, that's all I can say for now, in near future I will keep you updated, wear mask, stay safe, bye bye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only problem is that few local trains don't stop here. The reason behind this is that the Bandel Junction is near and hence become a less important station.
Moreover there are not enough fans on the platform for passengers waiting for train.

It's a small nicely maintained station... Fast passenger and express trains won't stop here... Only local trains stop here... Clean and well maintained area... Not too much crowded... It'll be easily approachable to the engineering colleges (like: HETC, HIT, etc.) from this station... & it'll take only 5 to 10 minutes by an auto or toto...

Galloping local trains and express trains do not stop here.
Well maintained and clean platforms. Drinking water is available and some small stalls are there.
KPS mall is easily accessible from here.
Platform 1 is for down trains(towards Howrah) and platform 3 is for up trains(towards Bandel and Bardhamman)
