★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the famous place is connected with Satima. A couple of hundred years ago, Satima lived here. She was a very kind hearted lady. The place is related with famous Kartabhaja community and every year in connection with Doljatra a fair is being held here. People come from different corners pay their pujas and perform various rituals.
The place is well connected with train viz. Kalyani local. It's adjacent to the renowned Kalyani University.

The timing of trains are not too dense (1 train each hour or sometimes 1 in 2 hours). Station is near to the terminal Kalyani Simanta, and trains are usually not crowded while boarding from here

This place very nice ,clean,not busy, staff offer good relationship and have a food track it 's ok ,it have a clock room very selfty,waiting room. But you may visit the Railway station on way to some place or while returning from somewhere I took 7:09 pm train for some for where The train is running late by more than an hour may be due to weather conditions but our schedules get changed due to the same.
