★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Customer service experience they will send you a wrong item, never ever order food from here , incompetent staff, they are even disconnecting my call & spoke very rudely with me. Such a Restaurant should not be listed on Swiggy n Zomato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a beef fry and kerala parathas. Taste was good. Limited variety but food was tasty. Lady managing the service is generous and polite. Service is also good. I would like to go again and again to try other dishes in future. Place is small but neat.

The foods is authentic Kerala dishes. The taste of the food would be amazing and it is a must visit place for all people especially South Indian people. The signature dishes are Briyani, chicken roast, appam, dosa, putty, fish fry, elai adai, kallappam, pazhampori, egg masala, idiyappam, etc.
My all time favourite dish is dosa and chilli onion chutney. The other non veg recepies are also good with less oil (non veg roast items). Really nice and healthy food
Fish fry is must try food here which is very economical even that buying raw fish and cooking on your own. This restaurant never disappoints me when I go there,
The best part is low price for such great food dishes, which is very cheap when compared to Mumbai standard. But they never compromised with taste.
Must try for everyone, family, children who miss their home land and food.
At last , you can have a full glass of chai, black tea, over here just for 15 rs, nowhere else in Mumbai.
Ambience:
The restaurant is located in outskirts of Matunga,
Basically, it is a small restaurant which can accommodate only max of 25 customer at a time. We will just forget the ambience as we see the tasty food on your table. But the cleanliness is very well maintained.
Owner and attender response:
They are always welcoming and happy to serve the customers, they listen everytime very patiently and response rate is ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few places in Mumbai where you get authentic Kerala Cuisine. Appam is must try either with Sambar or Chana Masala or Egg Curry. Fish Curry here is not recommended. Egg Dosa and Puttu can be surely tried.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a Keralite looking for food with a pure 'Malayali' touch in Mumbai, Hotel Lijesh in Matunga would be your best option. It's easy to fill a person's belly with food, however, it's a tedious task to fill the same person's mind with happiness and satisfaction alongside. And from whichever hotels I have dined in from so far, this was the only Hotel that beckoned me back for more. Food is affordable here and the best thing is it's very much similar in setup to the ones back home that we will feel teleported back home while we are in.
These guys deserve appreciation and recognition for the effort they put in and Mumbai Malayalees, ever doubting for Kerala food options, don't think twice; take a cab to Hotel Lijesh. You won't be disappointed.
