Boats are usually on time & the rates are quite cheap.
With ₹6 you could either travel to Fairlie or to Shipping.It takes roughly ten minutes to reaching Fairlie giving you a beautiful experience.
Boat services are there for other places too like Aharitola, Babughat.
Thousands of commuters rely on this mode of transport and their services never let you down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re in Kolkata, go take this ride. I wouldn’t go again just because I don’t want to ruin my first ride here. Moreover when you finish the jetty ride, the walk upto the Esplanade Metro is memorable one too. Btw Jetty Ride is just 6₹!
