★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better than PMCH which houses it, though still not upto the mark. Don't expect complex problems to be solved but one of the best option if one can't spend enough to get in to private hospitals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology (IGIC) is the only government run hospital that is fully dedicated to heart diseases in Bihar.
It is a CGHS, ECHS and Govt. of Bihar recognized, ISO-9001 certified hospital and is in the process of getting NABH Accreditation.
Medical Facilities in bihar till eighties was so meager that heart patients had to go heigher centers viz. – Vellore, Delhi, Calcutta etc., in the hope of getting a new lease of life. Specialized treatment facilities were scanty in those days and only Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology (IGIC) had secondary care facilities for cardiac ailments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Patients are burden here for medical staff (nurse, duty doctor, ward boy, cleaning staff and entire supportive staff.
None consider patient and attendent a human being. He always speak arrogantly with them and patient have to purchase everything like medicine , medical examination etc. Every one want bribe for his job. Condition of common facility is worst, either.
Govt and top member of hospital management aslo take visit and try best best to make this hospital best in real.
Must share complaining body number everywhere in hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Behavourial values must taught to these Nurses and other staffs of this hospital(IGIC). CM must look after these complains and assessment requires before providing them or continuing them in job. In Sunday they r worstly perform there duties. Doctors also not on time. These hospital staffs and doctors should changed or fired.

Cleanliness is extremely worst that I can't express in words you can come there and see how dirty this hospital are. If you talk about facilities then this hospital has only limited facilities. All important equipments are not available in this hospital hence you need private hospital for treatment. Even doctor in this hospital recommends private hospital because of better treatment. I know poor people can't afford there but there is no solution as you can see the condition of this hospital is extremely bad. Staffs and Doctor behaviour is incredible I can't express how rudely they behave with you when patient is in need or any emergency situation. They can't care if you are fine or bad they only care about themselves that's it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks a lot to the Senior Doctors of IGIC who really taking pain for the Poor Patients and regularly sending Patients to get the perfect medicines in a discounted rate and also to the patients unable to move too much we MITA MEDICALS providing the medicines at their doorstep by courier absolutely free of cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All doctors are good here. All tests are free of cost except for angiography you have to pay Rs 6000 for medicines which you have to buy from outside medical store . No CT angiography is done in any hospital of Patna everyone do normal angiography.

You will get subsidy and concession on medical instrument you can use here ayushman bhart card which gives you free medicin avilable in this store doctors and staff are very coperative and helpfull. This hospital also provide emergency ?? heath care.
