★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Irrigation & Waterways Department is the worst department of WB Govt.It is run by lazy,spineless bureaucrats who can't take simple decision like joining of staffs before completion of police verification.Choosing this dept is one of the biggest mistake of my life.Please don't repeat my mistake.Top bureaucrats of this department don't care about lower ranking staffs.

This is the office in Bikash vaban. This department under PHE (Public Health Engineer) Department in West Bengal State Government.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another big government office building housing offices of Irrigation and Waterways & other Departments is standing tall with showpiece stature of outward facelift and doubtful work culture till now. An effort is visible to enforce discipline and biometric system of attendance is arranged. In near future, there would be much improvement in terms of work ethics at least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father is a retired employee who worked in Jalasampad Bhawan. I while studying in college used to go to this building often. Unfortunately for some years the office is not having enough recruitments due to faulty policy of Govt. Overall I will never forget the never ending balcony and huge roof from where almost whole area of the Saltlake could be seen. It was the lost memory in which I became like co workers in that office and a known face to friends of my father of that office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Govt. Office Building is placed beside Bikash Bhawan at Salt Lake. In this building there are secretariat & directorates offices of IRRIGATION & WATERWAYS DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL present there. One can reach there from Bidhannagar Road Railway Station by buses no. KB16, KB22, S30A, K1, 211B, 44A etc. The building is not so well decorated and washrooms are in worst & beyond usable condition. Govt. Employees don't have any common health & hygiene facility.

One can reach there from Bidhannagar Road Railway Station by buses no. KB16, KB22, S30A, K1, 211B, 44A, JAPANI GATE -SALTLAKA MINI etc. The building is so well decorated. Now available metro rail also . Auto and yellow taxi are available all time . It is near to korunamayee
