The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College was ranked as the 12th best among 400 Medical Colleges of India in a survey by India Today- Neilson in 2016. It was established in 1962 and is part of the Aligarh Muslim University with the mission to provide excellent knowledge as well as rigorous training that will prepare the students to meet the professional, scientific and clinical challenges. One of the best managed government hospital of India. Staff is very humble and polite right from the doctor to managing staff. There is very good coordination among staff. They work as a team and try their best to diagnose their patient. Most of the junior doctors here has more than 24 hours continous shifts frequently. Even then without much criticism they do their best to perform their noble work very efficiently. My sister delivery was very complicated and their was negligible chances of baby survival . Best nursing homes at Agra told that if baby survive its not less than a miracle. My wife advised me for JNMC Aligarh and we went their for treatment and we got very noble response from staff. And thanks to their hardworking comrades both my sister and her beautiful daughter survived and delivery was normal. I owe a big world of thanks to staff here. Being a government hospital dealing with thousands of patients daily by hospital and most of the patients are very less educated and from hand to mouth families they get very good treatment here at very affordable prices from one of the most specialized medical staff here. Even medical stores inside hospital campus sell deliver without any bargain at 20 -50% doscount. Even cleanliness was good at this hospital as compared to most of the government hospital.
