Leute kauft dort nicht ein!!! - der Schmuck hat eine ganz schlechte QualitΓ€t (ich habe das 5-fache des wirklichen Wertes fΓΌr einen angeblichen Sternrubin bezahlt)
People don't shop there !!! - the jewelry is of very poor quality (I paid 5 times the real value for an alleged star ruby)

Do not go to this store. They cheated us by selling us glass filled gems which were worthless when taken for checking over for insurance. They are not willing to pay back!!!

Had a very pleasant time when i went to this shop. I was helped with the most friendly people at the store and found what i was looking for. Also the price was very reasonable and the quality of the jewelry is great. Highly reccomend this to anyone looking to get some new jewelry. We were also provided a great place to stay by the owner Mansoor Khan.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I bought a 'ruby & silver' bracelet here in November 2015 for 850 GBP I have recently had it valued in the UK it's only worth 10 GBP and it is NOT silver and they are NOT Ruby's. I have all the paperwork claiming it to be genuine so I am pursuing a claim under the section 74 consumer credit act but DO NOT buy from this establishment.

We were taken here by our guide from LPTI (Le Passage to India). We were told a little about the history of this shop, given a short demonstration of the cutting and sanding of different stones and were informed it was a safe place to purchase jewellery as everything was real and certified. The man who seemed to be the boss was very very pushy and turned off a few members of the group from buying anything even though they were interested initially. I had a nicer man who wasn't so pushy. A few members of the group made purchases. On arrival in our hotel that evening I decided to google Jewels & Gold Palace and read up about their history. All I could find was one scam story after another. I am so grateful to the people who wrote of their bad experiences here and on trip advisor. I had two independent jewellers looks at my purchases separately the following day. In each case a cheaper a semi precious stone had been sold as a precious stone. To pay a little more as guests/visitors from a 1st world countries I can understand. But for cheap stones to be labelled as precious ones is a scam. I informed our guide about my internet discoveries. He didn't want to accept what I was saying and that LPTI have been informed of this is the past. I did however manage to return my purchases for a full refund. We learnt that such travel agencies/guides have arrangements with these tourist traps and in fact get 35% of each sale. India is a wonderful place. It's sad there are so many shady businesses and corruption around. Tourist beware - do not purchase ANYTHING here!
