★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry service is good and timing is also good .45 mins required to reach kachuberia form kakdwip . They also provide car , bus , truck , bike cycle ferry service. The ferry timings are available on Gangasagar app .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kachuberia ghat is the north end ferry point on sagar island, and provides ferry to mainland till LOT8 neat harwood point, kakdwip.
The ferry cost is rs.8 per head and they start running from morning 5:30 till 11:00 then due to low tide the service stops. Then it resumes around 1500 hrs till 2100 hrs.
Since the ferry service is undertaken by state government surface transport corporation the service is not very convineint and the crowd management is also bad.
But since the price is very low you can keep up the calm.
The ghat is though very clean and provisions for last mile connectivity around the whole island is found here as soon as you arrive.
The people are very cordial and you will love the overall experience too.
