★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Product is standard, but service was horrible (that is a generous grade). The hob and chimney were picked up brought to our flat by the contractor for kitchen cabinets. This was done as there were some obstacles involved that required cutting the granite in-place. Hence our kitchen contractor had requested that the technician along with the technician to cut the granite come to the site on day-one such that the granite could be cut and steel supports modified, prior to installation of base cabinets. On day one no technician from New Ktichen World showed up. The next day, the technician showed up late evening and installed the chimney, with the help of the kitchen cabinet contractor’s technician. No technician to cut the granite. By now the base cabinets were installed. These cabinets had self-closing slides. Ont he third day the New Kitchen Worl technician calls to inform us that the granite cutting techinian will be there in the afternoon. We covered all the hinges and slides that could possibly be exposed to granite dust with plastic (visquine) shet that was tucked in tightly. On the following day we checked the kitchen to find a horror condition. Granite dust was every where and the palstic coverings were removed that resulted in the slides being covered with an abundance of granite dust (fine sand). We contacted the office and explained the situation, they were non-chalant and could care less. Later the technician called, yelling loudly, telling us that he was not responsible for the mess he had created and that two of the steel structures had to be removed to permit installation. We checked, with placing the hob and found only one structure had to be removed. We had to contract, at our expense, a techinican to cut the obstructing structure. The rude New Kitche World technician shows up puths the hob in wants an electrician to come and make the connection. This review is written so that customers are aware and not experience such a painful process.
There was only one positive experience with New Ktichen World and that was talking to Mr. Srinivas, he showed willing ness to help, but the results in the field were dismal. To top the episode after installation and checking by the hob vendor (another horror experience) an unknown person sent us the final invoice with transfer details. It was followed by reminder emails for payment. We had to set up the transfer process-account (benificiary) that takes about an hour and has limited transfer amount for 24 hours. We made the transfer and requested a receipt for payment. We are still waiting and it has been a week.
Buyer beware and careful!
