I had one of the best experience in Bengali cuisine here. Must try for anyone looking for good quality as well as quantity of food. Had ordered Veg thali, Mutton Kasa, Bhetki paturi and Posto chingri. Mutton Kasa was one of the best I ever had. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing experience for someone who's visiting Kolkata. The restaurant is small but the food fills your heart and stomach full. This place is a must visit for authentic bengali cuisine try. As the name says they serve in banana leaf only and it's an amazing service. Tried Katla meal and chicken meal. Prices are reasonable too.

From the bottom of my heart, this is really very very heart warming lunch experience I had. This place is just in the opposite thin route( goli ) of Lake-Mall. Just ask nearby people they can easily guide you through. This place is small and little congusted but there is AC and Fan running on their full potential to keep the place cool and the food is exceptionally well cooked. The people are very very humble there. I ordered 1. Usual Veg thali - 100/- 2. Mutton thali - 350/- ( 3 medium mutton pieces) (for thalis you can refill all the items except the mutton , fish, paneer etc.) Each item has the touch of Home and very pleasant to eat. It is very good to go with your family and enjoy the lunch dinner there. If you think you can not eat more, you can pack the rest( maybe there are a little charges in packing) and took it home. So, what are you waiting for.

Authentic bengali food in reasonable price comparing to the other brand bengali restaurants. Every food item including fish, chicken, is tender, fresh and well cooked. A total 5 star experience !

Situated just a little in a lane right opposite Lake Mall, this bengali restaurant barely seats 20odd people but serves hearty bengali food. You have the option of Alacarte menu items but the best part is a thali which has Rice, Dal, Jhuri Aloo Bhaja, a non veg side dish (usually some leafy vegetables cooked with fish head), chutney and a Non veg dish of your choice. The items are all fresh and really delicious. Their Posto Chingri is a must try. A must visit for someone wanting to get acquainted with Bengali cuisine without formalities.

At last we found some Bengali restaurant with reasonable price. We went on the occasion of Bengali New Year. We took one Katla fish meal, one Mutton meal and its cost us only Rs 520. I am pretty sure if you go any other Bengali restaurant it will cost double. Taste, quantity, quality too good. Specially mutton. I have not eaten so soft and home style cooked mutton anywhere for long time. I really recommend it to everyone
