You can get the details of the train from android app Kolkata Sub available at Google play store. You can easily get any transport from this staion to reach your destination. Its very crowdy during the office hours.

It lies on the Sealdah-Ranaghat Lineand is part of the Kolkata Suburban Railwaysystem and is under the jurisdiction of Eastern Railway. The rail station is well accessible via bus services , rickshaw , auto - rickshaw , e-rickshaws etc. The station is moderately clean and lacks maintainance a little. But its very populated , vibrant and cheerful even at the dead of night. The area has no such wi-fi service , the one present is hardly useful. Cycle , motorcycle and rickshaw stands are just beside the station , but the car parking is difficult.
