★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very beautiful place and very beautiful foreign birds are coming in kanwar lake and very contain beautiful birds and animals. It is very good tourist place for boating and for picnic. For boating, 200 for each boat. And I suggest you when you come there, then pls go for boating for atleast one time. It is very beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this place in the month of October and this is the month of festivals in Bihar.
This place is good (Not Too Good) for picnic and spending some time.
But, I would like to mention that this place is not that much safe for kids. So, it's better to take proper care of them at that place.

This lake draws water from the confluence of the Gandak, the Bia and the Kareh river – is situated near Manjhaul, 22 km northwest of Begusarai, the district headquarters. The verdant surrounding with plenty of aquatic vegetation around the lake attracts thousands of birds during the winter season.

Many monkeys are there but they are generally visible in Jan-Feb. Very few of them are visible at rest of the days.
There are many stalls for food stuffs.
And you have to beware about your stuffs as monkeys takes away all the stuffs?.
And the lake which is famous for boating. Many nauka are available are there. And it is also said that many different types of birds are seen there. Also people of that places consume that birds. You can enjoy the boating at that time when migrating birds are available there. Also people visit their family and spent some quality time , have picnics.
Baki aap ek baar zarur waha jaakr nauka ki safari kr skte hai maza hi aata hai. Aur bandar logon ko zarur faal khilaye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's totally natural till now, no government interference. But the butchers are smuggling the siberian birds which migrates to this lake every winter and butchers hunt them for meal. Which is very bad.otherwise everything is great. There is also a temple nearby known as jaymangla dham Mandir.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Protected area, near by Jaimsngla Garh in Manjhaul subdivision, about 20 km from Begusarai district headquarters, good connectivity by Rail and road, nearest railway station Begusarai, nearest airport Patna. A local guest is there, in not in good condition, better arrange to rest outside Kanvar area.
