★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good views at the dam but nothing much to do here. Instead go to K Rocks Resort that is on the lake side it has boating options and lake side restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good place to be visited with friends and family. The road leading to dam are in bad shape. There are few eateries by the road side. Boating is also available here which can be crowded on weekends. People have made a mess all over the place by littering whatever stuff which can be thrown away making this place awful. This place can be good for visiting in evening or in the early morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large waterbody amid green surroundings to visit near Hinjewadi. Between monsoon and winters, there is lot of water in the dam and greenery all around to enjoy. Last km or so, road is not so good (Not so bad either)
There are few shacks selling tea and snacks and a large resort like KRock with much better facilities, food and parking. Boating and camping facilities also available nearby.
Lots of water fowl and some baya (Weaver bird) nests can be spotted across the dam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kasarsai lake and dam is a beautiful place to spend few hours during the afternoon and evening.
We followed the road from Hinjewadi - Marunji and then left towards Kasarsai lake. Upto that point the road is good but for about 2-3 kms before the lake and dam the approach road is pretty narrow, rough and quite uncomfortable for driving.
Good location to stop over and witness a beautiful sunset at the backdrop of the lake. You get amazing kind of piece with birds whistles.
