We went on Google reviews... But very much disappointed ☹️. It just a temple of Tukaram Maharaj nothing else .... We asked many shopkeeper over their about caves nd sunset point etc ... Non of them knew about it they suggested us about Lonavala sunset point ??‍♀️. In one of review they have mentioned about hotel Bandara hills which is absolutely invisible while going (as lies behind u) while returning we asked the hotel guy about caves nd finally he told us the direction (which was just infront of his hotel)..their was no proper road or even a footroad....no board or any directions.... Very hard to find nd go on that route. We too r kids with us... It was not a safe treck for them so we didn't not go . All this took lot of time nd energy of a day... Sad nd disappointed

Hidden treasure of Bhandara dongar. Route starts from the behind of first building on Bhandara dongar. It takes around 10 min to reach to the caves. It's away from the crowd, situated at the back side of Jungle. It has 1 big cave where one Sadhu lives. 1 small caves and one half built Stupa. Its a good place to visit if you live in nearby areas of Talegaon Dabhade and haven't yet explored the Bhandar Caves. Nice for spending peace time in nature.

This Buddhist caves are situated at back side of Bhandara Hill which is famous for pilgrims of Saint TUKARAM Maharaj. Natural beauty is awesome here, also it is very silent place as it is situated little away from city.

Real tough trek, above average trekking skills and stamina needed to reah there. Beware of small rodents and even snakes on the way. Some parts are slippery and may get worse in rainy season. Caves are not as elaborate as their cousins at Karla, Bhaja and Bedse but the view is very scenic, surreal in monsoon and beautiful sun set. Parking at Hotel Bhanadara Hills where you can recharge before and after the trek :-)

A Buddhist cave was investigated by archaeologists in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It is believed that these caves were built by Monk and Nun and not their followers, these caves are still of great importance and many people do not know about them yet, this cave site or lesser known cave site, these caves are Buddhist rock -cut is the architectural terminology of architecture I would say if you want to visit this place along with your family you should prefer to travel by car. If you are a couple then you can use a two-wheeler also. You can also plan Induri fort because it is situated on the way to Bhandara hill if you are coming from Talegaon side.

Awesome place to visit. From behind to Sant Tukaram maharaj temple on hill there is small patway with foot print. You ask for direction to local shop persons also. Its a slippery path. 2 cave one with Dhyan mandir and second is for Bahudha. There are few Caffa trees , so we can see the lits of flower on ground. U can bring tiffin here also.
