Haven't Visited to Caves, but the Waterfalls are really awesome. There are many waterfall in a row towards Khandi from Vadgaon. You will enjoy the circle Ride to Thokarwadi Dam during Rains & Winter.

This is such an offbeat place to visit. It is 50 km from Wakad and can be reached within an hour. When you to these caves.. You need to trek through jungle for 20 minutes and then when you reach the base from there you would have to do rock climbing for 40 ft and then as you reach top the caves can be reached in 5 minutes.. The view from the top is breathtaking! And the caves actually shows how ingenious were the thought process to have water storage and food grinding facility here. The climb down is through rappling. Word of caution if you are new to trekking then please be careful as mountain climbing and rappling would be difficult. The difficulty level for this trek is medium.

Kambre caves are located on North west of Kanhe village on National Highway number 4, The Kambre villege is well connceted with the Highway, Caves are on west of Village and it takes around 30 mins max fir moderate walkers, to reach in the caves. There is small climbing involved on last stage before caves, so Local person Or experienced trekkers with adventure equipment like rope is mandetory for ammetuares. The caves has many Carved water tanks, but none of them has water. So carrying own food and water is recommended.

Caves near Kambre village in the 'Andar Maval' region of Pune district, Maharashtra are unknown to many. To reach here, one has to travel about 25 kms towards 'Kusur' from the 'Kanhe Junction' on old Mumbai - Pune High way, just 3 km from Vadgaon and 2 km from Kamshet. There are about 8 water cisterns and 3 caves. Many water cisterns are caved out of rock but unfortunately none of them holds water. The main attraction of these caves is a tunnel carved out of a rock with a provision of carved steps to reach the main cave. These are placed at a very beautiful location from where a view of Thokalwadi Dam back water looks awesome. One has to climb an easy + rock patch (can be climbed with out rope if seasoned trekker ) or please carry ropes to reach these caves which takes 30 minutes from the village.
