★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is above 5 stars. Anyone interested in trecking and a bit of rock climbing then this is ideal place. Around 4-5 kms of walking and then climbing from Kondeshwar temple. Bahiroba temple inside the cave. Drinking water for the entire year and utensils to cook in the cave.

All an all it was mind blowing experience..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Njoy जंगल walking... up to certain point kids can go...after that need to go down or up...that's difficult.... if u r planning to visit with kids go enjoy जंगल walk...carry water bottles...will kot get anything there...if u carry food that is good option

Exciting and adventurous. when start from khondeshwar it will give you complete package of dark forest trail , open grassland, water streams, kokan kada cliff views, caves and the final 10% consists of rock climbing .. where already ropes are fixed.. Just have calmness and confidence in yourself , it's not that difficult for a normally fit person.
In pics it might look very dangerous.
Just Be aware of over smart monkeys ? , they precisely know whom to target, when to attack, how to open the bag, where the food might be kept..... And they will also throw at you back empty wraps after eating your food??.
Have fun , be careful and don't litter.
Note - There is entry ticket at khondeshwar village , plus parking guy might ask some money , temple guy might ask some money.

A challenging trek, ~75kms from Pune...Some really tough patches en route which test your guts, but you finish it with grit to end the day with a sense of achievement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of challenging trekes out there in Sahyadri. This trek has everything, jungle road, cliff view, thrills etc. Not for first timer though. Specifically climbing to bahiri rock caves. Be prepared & trek safe.

A thrilling experience. It's a perfect blend of natural beauty and adventure. We were a grp of 8 people and went on Republic Day.
Initial phase of trek is a jungle amidst the nature. Good for a nature lover. There are lot of locations to get a good click.
I suggest to click photos at initial stage rather than waiting for the end where you will not be in a mindset for a click as there are lot of steep slopes at the end and is quite risky. There are chains, ropes, bamboo with which u have to climb to reach at the top where u have the Bahiri temple. Finally, worth it at the top.
I would not recommend this trek for amateurs.
