★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really really bad experience. We ordered chicken curry through Zomato. Chicken pieces were old and hard. Those were at least 5-6 days old pieces.
We ordered chicken curry but gravy smells like fish. Now imagine old chicken pieces in fish gravy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I placed an order today 2 x Aloo Bhaja, 2 x Full Rice, 2 x Mug Daal and 2 x Dhokar Dalna from swiggy and received 1 item each. Based on this experience I would prefer not to recommend this restaurant to anyone for takeaway.

For there stale food I had to suffer stomach ache n probs not at all recommend places lik this should shut if they can't take proper care of the quality

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kasturi Restaurant serves some of the best cross-border dishes (namely EparBangla/OparBangla or the two provinces of Bengal after the Partition of 1905).
Needless to say we visit there often to taste dishes that were once famous in the Bengal households during my Grandmother's era.
We are a fan of Shil-ey-bata-murgi, Kochupata-bata-chingri, MuttonKasha, Chicken-Dak-Bunglow, Bhuna-Murg, Bhetki-Roast among other Bengali specialities. We have tasted all these dishes within a long span; however i don't have all the pictures with me.... Only the pics from the lastest visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ KASTURI (Jadavpur) a fish lovers paradise .Famous for their amazing fish recipes. Few days back we ordered
1.Shorshe Pabda
2.Shorshe Pomfret
3. Jumbo Prawn Malaikari
All the dishes were delicious and unique too. The fishes were fresh. The mustard gravy of the first two recipes were a bit hot ???, but the Prawn Makaikari was sweet and tasty with creamy coconut texture. The Pabda fish was quiet big . The packaging was good.Definitely recommend this place .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best authentic Bengali Restaurant in Jadhavpur located just 2 min walking from 8B Bus stand. Place is located in very good location and spacious. Dining place is compact and fully AC. Last but not the least Quality of the food is awesome. I really appreciate the Fish and the Mutton item, classic, must taste. Thalis are great and quantity is very well balanced for one to two persons. Loved the dining experience.
