★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food served is good and affordable, specially the special chicken platter. Items of turkey and quail are available at relatively affordable prices. Quantity provided is sufficient. After eating, you also have the option of buying raw or processed meat items from Haringhata brand. However the service is not very good.
Sometimes you have to wait an eternity before you are given a menu and even more before your order is taken. They don't always write down your order, at least they haven't for me in the past two instances. The staff appears to be more interested in watching TV instead of serving and sometimes they forget that you ordered cold drinks/fresh lime soda or other beverage with your food and you have to remind them after all the dishes you ordered are served. It is preferable to order home delivery as although the food is tasty, the service is not at par to sit and dine.

Kaviar is a #PPPpartnership with the #GovernmentofWestBengal via Haringhata Meat Shop where the focus is on unconventional Non veg delicacies.. Tucked away inside #Saltlake - this one is certainly a hidden gem since 2016..
Service could be slightly better but the pricing is just perfect - extremely economical in respect to the delicacies on offer..
I gorged on #QuailEggDevil, #RoastedDuck & #TandooriQuail - all three items were delicious & specifically the roasted duck was a delightful gastronomical experience - couldn't have imagined duck meat can be that tender..
Missed out on the #RabbitBhuna that day - looking forward to go back soon post lockdown for the same..
I remember going to #Suruchi regularly just beside #SovabazarMetroStation years ago which was also run by the West Bengal government - that was where I had #Quail & #Rabbit for the first time in my life & became a fan of the same instantly - it unfortunately closed down at some point and I miss that place even today because of the unconventional delicacies that used to be on offer at extremely economical prices - thankfully, I have finally found an alternative now.. How many of you remember that eatery if I may ask??
Feel free to drop in if you wish to try out unique delicacies post Lockdown - you are bound to fall in love with this place..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good spread with a variety for the adventurous people . From duck, quail to other rare meats and eggs. Clean and quite ambiance which has fairly priced food. Ideal for group gatherings too as the restaurant is spacious, bright
and aesthetically pleasant. We as students love going there as its gentle on our wallets too. The topping on the cake is ground floor is a store packed with frozen meats, kebabs, to excellent mustard oil to ghee , to unique bird eggs not easily found elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Hidden Gem by our West Bengal Government. "Kaviar" the restaurant based on serving a whole variety of unconventional meat. The types of meat you will get here is Duck, Quail, Turkey and many more. You can also procure the meat from their Store or get it delivered to your doorstep.
