★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the biggest bus station in the country. Buses to each and every corners of the city. Located opposite to the KSR Bengaluru railway station. There are sign boards which shows the platform number from which the buses to the respective places starts. Its written both in kannada and English. Bus station is under BMTC. Bus station owes its name to the who built the city of Bengaluru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Main depot, well organized. All buses and platforms are marked. Its kind of arc shape. You can ask many BMTC persons roaming, in case if you have any confusion. Buses come from one side and leave from other. There is a underground subway which connects intercity bus stop and railway station. The shops are well maintained and clean too. The bus stop is well maintained.

Commuters would be in a great advantage as u have a metro station in the exit side and KSR bengaluru railway station at the opposite for which u have a subway to pass which directly connects to the station

AC buses are available here as well.
The place is maintained very well with reference to the volume of buses it handles..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kempegowda Bus Station, more commonly known as Majestic Bus Station, is a large bus station in central Bangalore, India. It is located opposite the Bangalore City Railway Station. It is bordered by Seshadri Road to the north, Danavanthri Road to the east, Tank Bund Road to the south and Gubbi Thotadappa Road to the west. It is the third busiest inter city bus station in South India after the CMBT bus station and Madhavaram Mofussil Bus Terminus both located in Chennai.
This bus station provides connectivity to almost all the areas of Bangalore. One side of the bus station is used for intra-city buses by the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) while the other side is used by out-station buses operated by various state road transport corporations. The KSRTC side of the bus station also houses the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) metro station on the Namma Metro.
Former chief minister of Karnataka R. Gundu Rao is credited with building the station. The bus station not only eased congestion with buses and helped streamline the transport system but also helped the local area grow economically and was a major landmark of the city for many years.
