★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bandra's go to for Japanese food. The Sushi is delicious and so are the bowls backed up with some sturdy deserts. A head chef that also speaks to his customers to get their views and inputs - a sign of a hands on all round eating experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy little place in Bandra, with a classy minimalistic ambience, great food and impeccable service. The Japanese cheese cake with Miso ice cream is to die for! I highly recommend KenZen to anyone looking for great Japanese food in Mumbai. I know I'll be going back very soon.

1) very fresh ingredients with the right flavours
2) don’t miss out on the sushi’s
3) Tanuj - owner and head chef gives individual attention to each table and gives recommendations and prepares dishes as per the taste

THE place to hang out if you are in Mumbai, Bandra. Views are to die for! Go with someone special (I did!). ?
This is one of the best tasting Japanese Restaurants in town, from the sushi which is really fresh, to the cooked food, which is also one of their specialties. However, it is not cheap whatsoever..However, if you want delicious consistent Japanese Dining, this is the place to go.
There is enough choices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian palates. The restaurant serves up everything with love, care, thoughtfulness ?

The soft shell crab roll is by far my all time favorite sushi roll. It is simply the best. I absolutely love love love it. Theirs is simply superb.
With each bit you get perfectly crisped up deep fried soft shell crab. Dip that into wasabi flavored soy sauce and you’re in gastronomical heaven.
While they are delicious this way I have found that the flavor of the soft shell crab is almost too strong, it is too flavorful. It needs to be somewhat diluted for you to be able to appreciate the depth and strength of the particular flavor. It’s almost too much to just eat deep fried soft shell crab (in my mind).
Miso soup? (?/?)
Miso is a flavourful Japanese soya food that makes a rich, satisfying soup. It was in a dark yellow coloured soup. This luxurious tasting organic miso soup . Seriosuly it was a soul satisfying.

Tried the miso ice cream with caramel sauce. This was the saddest part of my day, when I realised my dish was empty ? Because the ice cream was totally Heaven ?
Over all & Staff - ?/?What more you want realy Delicious food, amazing service with geniuely friendly staff who enjoy their job...service on the top of the world.. Chef Tanuj bhambri sir was really a down to earth person..He guide us very well and help us what to order. Thankyou Chef Tanuj sir for making such a wonderful food..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious well cooked food, great service and ambiance. Our 4 yr old declared that her noodles were the “best she’s ever eaten!” If you’re looking for a hidden gem then I’d definitely recommend this restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Japanese decor, value driven menu, wholesome flavours and friendly staff, makes Kenzen a nice spot to remember and revisit.
Really fast service was a plus over here. The teriyaki chicken was succulent and well marinated.
Great portions for the sushi and fresh ingredients contribute to a successful dish overall.
Will visit again for sure.
