β β β β β One of my absolute favourite restaurants in Mumbai. Fantastic food & really good choice of cocktails.
We started with Sushi and Sashimi, and ordered Hoi Sin Duck Roll (this is the first time any of us have had duck as a sushi option, and it was very very good), Signature Prawn Tempura Sushi, and Hamachi Yellow Tail Sashimi.
If you are a Sushi lover as we are, you cannot not visit Koko, as the quality and freshness of the fish is instantly recognisable.
We then sank our teeth into the most moist, well-made, beautifully cooked Scallops.
I've had cause to complain at some five star hotels in Mumbai about the scallops being overcooked,
but these were just melt in the mouth, and deliciously accompanied with bamboo heart, mushrooms, asparagus, and ponzu butter.
The main course consisted of Prawns in Singapore Sauce (if you do not like spicy food do not order this dish, which we devoured with all relish),
Spicy Lemongrass Fried Rice, and perfectly cooked and delicately flavoured Tenderloin with Broccoli and Scallions. Of course, after all of this there was no place for any dessert, as the portions of all the dishes are generous indeed!
Very hygienic, staff is prompt & warm & the music on the weekends is great!
Really good vibe overall!
Thank you Koko....definitely returning...Soon!

β β β β β We visited Koko for their famous Thursday Tasting menu. And let me just say that it was almost up to the mark considering all the hype about it. Almost.
The food, veg & non veg was no doubt superb. We especially loved the salmon Maki Roll, Black Rice Maki Roll, Edamame & Truffle Dim sum, Prawn Dim Sum, Prawn Tempura Roll, Koko Roll was another stellar sushi option. Although, I was really looking forward to the Hamachi Carpaccio, they didn't have Hamachi and we're served salmon carpaccio instead. Also, the money bags & dim sum had the exact same edamame & truffle filling, with not enough truffle flavour coming through.
In the small plates we enjoyed the Aromatic prawns, sichimi pepper salt & Broccoli creamy planta.
The mains, salads & soups were frankly underwhelming, with the same regular options you'll find at any Chinese restaurant.
The only dessert option, crispy honey noodles & ice cream, was very boring. Nothing that we haven't tried before. I was expecting to try one of their signature desserts or atleast two options to choose from. None of that here.
We tried their Koko Spanish G & T Cocktail ?? which was yummy! Mulberries, orange, kafir lime and more, came together to make a delicious drink! ??
Manish our server, was fabulous all the way! Excellent service, with a smile I could notice even with his mask on. Very warm & friendly. 100+ points for service.

β β β β β I visited for lunch with my friends. We were delighted by the authentic Japanese food. The spices and flavors were extremely impressive for a vegetarian person like me.

β β β β β I had an amazing time at koko. Their staff is extremely courteous and helpful! I had ordered the lotus root big plate and found it extremely chilly and flat .. so i requested a change of dish and our server came to find out why we dint like it and got us another dish instead. They dint even charge us for the lotus root!
The other dishes we tried:
- Koko Signature Sushi Roll
- Pan fried zhai gyoza
- Edmame truffle money bag
- Ho Fan Noodles
- China Jasmine Tea Pot
Overall experience very good. Also Iβve previously eaten at their unlimited brunches with the dimsum and sushi cart, and bespoke cocktails and they are soo good. Booking in advance is always recommended. If youβre celebrating an occasion or a holiday .. i highly recommend indulging in their brunches as you get a huge asian cuisine spread to choose from and the food is amazing ?

β β β β β Can't complain about the food, it was absolutely brilliant as always. The service needs to improve overall, we had quite a few orders coming to our table that we didn't order. Apart from all this the most disappointing thing was the dining experience, the furniture is in a pathetic state, the first chair that i sat on was rocking so bad that the back could fall off anytime, the leg of the replaced chair actually broke while i was sitting on it (saved myself from falling down).
The upholstery was in a pathetic condition, stains and black marks everywhere. Considering all the factors doesn't give you the feel of a premium dining experience what one expects.

β β β β β An absolute gourmet delight. This is the best dessert I had in my whole life. At this price point it's expected though. I cannot even start to describe the Euphoria I had while we tested each item, and it never got boring for a second. Their vegetarian dim sums are legendary. Now I did feel the dim sums were a bit heavy on the folding side, but I think that is the texture the chef wanted it to be. We got suggested a dessert, and I'll not tell you the name. Show the picture and ask for the exact same thing. You won't be disappointed. But fair warning, keep an open mind and experiment. This kind of thoughtful food are hard to come by.
Edit: Forgot to mention the in house beer. It's a blend of Rice beer with Hops and they have created something unique and tasty. My sister does not even drink beer and she finished half the glass???. Totally Worth it.
