Never.. i mean never ever miss the sunrise from this point. I dont know why this point is named as khandala point. I would have named this point as Sunrise point. As matheran already has the sunset point.
Now if u want to enjoy this point, only go before sunrise. Search in google about the sunrise timing and just for one day wake up early, and reach this point 15-30 min before sunrise and see the twilight the sky offers and sit and relax untill u slowly see the sun coming out from the dark. Its super amazing and after sun rise sit for more 30min to soak in the sunlight.
This point is hardly 700-900 meter walk from main market place or jama msjid which takes around just 10mins.
Khandala point highly Recommended.
