★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is the hidden gem at Jhargram and a small village that will amaze everyone. The wall arts are simply mind blowing. Mr Shasthi Charan Aich is the man behind this amazing art culture. Picture Courtesy: ©Rishav Karmakar and ©Poulami Majumdar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kolkata-based painter and sculptor Mrinal Mandal has led the transformation of tribal village Lalbazar adjacet to Jhargram town whic used to be a regular mud-huts Lodha settlement. He first visited in 2014, while on a visit to his home town of Jhargram city. Mrinal and his friends from their organisation Chalchitra Academy are doing art work at this village for the last three years. They want to give a new dimension and outlook to the lifestyles of the tribal villagers through art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small village deep in the jungle of Jhargram. Main attraction of this village is painting on the walls of every house. There are a few houses which are differently painted. There are some musk painting, there are some elastrated painting, some painting of local activities. I was attracted there not because of these paintings but for the long narrow way that connects to the village. This narrow soil road was completely lonley inside the jungle. Many cashew nut plant were plantet beside the two sides of the road. I was visited there on 26th December'21 around 5 PM. Because of this reason there was almost dark, no electricity is there beside the road.
