β β β β β A legend in bangalore since 1985, the first fully air conditioned pure vegetarian restaurant of Bangalore.
The food that I tried, a Palak Kichidi was super fabulous, absolutely loved it. I wish I could visit them more often and try more of their classics perfected over the years. Service is ok, nothing to complain about, but could be a little more attentive.
This review is from June 2019.

β β β β β Just for clarification about Bengaluru Coffee Norms Scale in the picture:
The One and The Two One-by-Two.
FYI: This is one of the favourite restaurants of Prashant. And the button idly are famous of Konark, search in menu not in pictures :)

β β β β β Just an ok place to come for quick lunch if your are near this area.
Manchow soup was very watery & tasteless.
Masala papad only onion in red masala is put on papad so don't expect like North Indian style.
Service was super quick.
Can be avoided if not very hungry.

β β β β β This is a place which offers good quality food at a reasonable price. It's airy and spacious. The starters we tried - Gobi Manchurian and Baby Corn Pepper dry were delicious, specifically the latter was crispy too. The service is decent and its priced reasonably as well. It's definitely a place where you can take the family out for a lunch over the weekend or during one of the festivals like I did over Ganesha Chaturthi.

β β β β β Konark Restaraunt is classic old restaurants of bangalore which is known for its quality food, have been visiting here for the last 30 years. , they have only improved and maintained consistency with quality, no wonder it is crowded on weekends, ample amount of parking available here, Food- best dosas are available, would suggest onion and paneer dosa to try as they really delicious, Chinese bhel is a must try, paneer any main course or starters it just melts in your mouth, soups - Have tried lemon coriander, veg manchow and tomato, felt all three were good, overall food is really worth the money, tables/seating are quite close to next ones which makes the place noisy as they need to accommodate 100+ in that restaurant , apart from that everything is 5/5
