I have been to this hospital thrice to get both dose of Covid Vaccine for Mom & self, while the 2nd time was for my wife to get her Covid Vaccine. The staff their are very cooperative & helpful. They offer Covishield Vaccine. For paid covid vaccine they charge ₹250 for every shot per person. Their premise is neat nad clean.

Doctors talk a lot, but do nothing they just pretend that they are trying best giving everything whatever patient is required but Do nothing . They don't have needed machines in the hospital and they keep on giving fake promises patient are handled by junior doctors. No senior doctor entertain the patient doesn't matter how critical the patient is . They just keep on looting. Providing nothing but keep on increasing charges

Had the worst experience in this pathetic hospital. I don't know about pre-covid situation. But since it became covid center it has been a hotspot for lousy administrative and non professional doctor. Not even sure if the ppl there are real doctors. Money extracting using the excuse of covid. They charged us for oxygen when my father was on a non-oxygen bed. The receptionist/administrative/helper.. where to even begin. Just under the name of this pandemic the people are forced to admit there. Else this hospital is a BS to be frank. Only ok part was the insurance claim guy Manohar who still took 1 week to process our forms since there was no proper track record of the patient files. No proper records kept. They charge 1L per patient for 7 days and yet the files are kept like garbage. Would never recommend this hospital to anyone.

The hospital staff is good. Sometimes they have a crunch of nurses. But the treatment given is affordable and good. The behaviour of the brothers and sisters is kind and Curteous. They take good care of the patients. They do have to be called again and again for help specially during night.

Was admitted last month after contracting Covid-19 and was feeling breathing difficulty. The main consultant doctor was a pulmonologist, and his treatment appeared reasonable. However, faced multiple problems, which are serious and never expected. 1) For many of the days, junior doctor accompanying the senior doctor appear not to update my File for the changes of medicine suggested by the senior consultant. One day I raised an issue of mild breathing difficulty while lying down on bed in the night. The senior doctor suggested nebulisation and doubling the steroid dose. However, only after 2 days the nurses realised that and asked me for nebulisation, and asked for giving me extra steroid dose in the night. By these 2 days, my problems had vanished, and I simply refused the extra doses. The next day I mentioned to the senior doctor of taking a single steroid dose and lack of need of nebulisation. He agreed, but I found the nurses kept on bothering me for the next few days that my file mentions the extra doses. It was surprising to see that the senior doctor's suggestion are not acted seriously by the accompanying junior doctor. 2) In a couple of cases, I found even the nurses also not to follow what is written on the file, and rather go by memory of what medicine they gave yesterday to me. These are serious issues, and could endanger one's life. I had to remain careful and check with the nurses every time what they were administering. 3) Another serious issue I found that the nurses are adapted to fill up the patient file with numbers often without actually carrying out measurements. For example, out of more than one week of my stay, my blood pressure was measured only once. However, I checked in my file that there were several entries of B.P. over these days, most of which were false readings. 4) The hospital do not appear to bother about patient safety. I was staying in a semi-private room, and the other patient in the room was diabetic. For 2 consecutive days the nurses mentioned that they have no supply of Glucometer strips, and they cannot measure his blood sugar level, no insulin will be given. Anyone with a bit of knowledge in medicine would know that for a hospitalised diabetic patient, maintaining correct blood sugar level is extremely important. Otherwise, in case of excessive blood sugar, the person could have delayed recovery from disease, infections and damage to internal organs. On the 3rd day, when that person's blood sugar level was measured, it was above 400. 5) High cost and lack of transparency: When I was admitted, I asked for the room charge. The receptionist said I will be told later. This was never told before my release. They are charging Rs. 4000/- for a semi private room including nursing, which is the same with high end hospitals as capped by the government. However, the size of the room and facilities provided are very mediocre. I was charged for all the medicines as was in my case file, many of which were not administered (see above). Without using Oxygen and Remdesivir my overall per day cost was more than Rs. 10,000/-. I felt that some of the resident doctors and nurses are quite good, but there is a lack of check and balance, which a reasonable hospital management need to ensure. Management is supposed to ensure that random checks are made to figure out any false entry in the case file, talk to patients at least once after their admission to check if there are grievances, which was completely missing. In short, being admitted there was better than being at home for recovery from Covid-19, but, compilcations can arise due to lack of professionalism in their work culture.

Pathetic service. My mother & me were found Covid-19 positive so I wanted to take a consultation from Kotbagi Hospital for both of us. We were told to come in the morning at 7AM next day. When we reached at hospital they said the doctor was not available and we were told to wait. We had to wait for two hours for a person to attend us. The person who attended us, checked our oxygen levels only and suggested us to get HRCT scans and for the same he was insisting us to use their ambulance for travelling to the scan center which was just 2kms away, which we reluctantly agreed. After lots of waiting, the ambulance was not available, so the person suggested us to go get it done by ourselves. For this 'Consultation', I was asked to pay Rs. 3500 as OPD charges. No consultation was provided and for which I was charged this exorbitant amount. The staff was overwhelmed but this is sheer loot. Me and my family have taken treatment from this hospital in past but it is not recommended at all unless it is an emergency case.
