Entry from right gate up a few stairs greeted by cheap accessory seller on the right within premises
Two ladies sitting at help desk not even doing one man's job.
No single Q system,no covid protocol.
Two guys to the right doing nothing.
Typical govt atmosphere.
Despatch section. To process matured policies manned by two people.
You will need a revenue stamp which can be procured right outside with chaiwali for rs.10
Young man there enough to at least look at the papers and staple them,offered glue but declined to accept saying had to be submitted to delhi office despite call centre saying the opposite.
Directed to a lady manager on the next floor(stairs opposite despatch)
Who was polite enough but initially told me the docs needed to be given to delhi branch but said could be uploaded by here system.
But early in the morning conveniently system down. Asked if I should wait she said no use.
So with lic a simple thing like accepting docs and despatching to relevant office. a big deal.
Buy a policy but run around on maturity that to when you are almost a senior citizen.
Very dissapointed but should not have expected better
