Since there’s no sign for Loom on the street, finding the place is bit confusing. So what you need to do when you find yourself in front of 36/1 Jatin Das Road is head down the small alley. Pass by the first building to your left; head to the building behind it and take the staircase to the first floor. And voilà, you’re there and you’ll be glad you came.
Neena Gupta, the warm, welcoming and knowledgeable owner, has an amazing array of pashminas in a surprising number of styles. The quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable. It’s actually fun to shop at Loom plus there’s no pressure to buy anything (though you’ll likely be wowed by the yummy colors, delighted by the selection and will find yourself leaving with a bag under your arm).
Oh, and before you leave, check out her unique, gorgeous, soft pashmina shirts. They're really cool (and also, of course, warm).
