I had to get my blood removed for a simple blood test... The boy sitting at the front desk sat me down on the chair and brought the syringe. He then tied the velcro around my left arm and started poking around with his finger to find my vein. He didn’t find it on my left arm so he switched to my right arm and poked around similarly. He didn’t find the vein on my right arm either. So he called another guy sitting at the front desk to poke around my arm. This new guy poked around my right arm and when he didn’t find a vein he switched to my left.
Till this point I thought okay, maybe he is prepping me so that an actual doctor can draw my blood, but to my ABSOLUTE HORROR this person (WHO WAS NOT EVEN WEARING A LAB COAT AND DID NOT LOOK THE LEAST BIT EDUCATED. FORGET BEING A DOCTOR OR AN INTERN HE DID NOT LOOK LIKE HE WAS 12TH PASS) starts to pick up the syringe and draw my blood. Before he uses the syringe I ask “Are you going to be the one removing my blood?” and he doesn’t even respond. He just thrusts the syringe into my arm and WHILE THE NEEDLE IS IN MY ARM HE PRODS AROUND TO FIND THE VEIN UNDER MY SKIN FOR ONE FULL MINUTE.
He then manages to finally hit a vein and draw blood... Which he does really quickly so I end up feeling dizzy and then FAINTING.
Really unpleasant and unprofessional experience. On the other hand whenever I get blood drawn at Dr Jariwala laboratory I get an actual doctor who draws my blood. I have always felt a bit light headed after having blood drawn, but never fainted like this. Nor have I EVER had actual doctors have trouble finding my vein, both when my weight has been higher and lower than this.
So yeah go here if you want office boys extracting your blood. If I had the option I would give 0 stars.
