★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's probably the second-most popular temple in Bishnupur, after Rasmancha. The Madanmohan Temple is situated slightly far from the town center, but that doesn't make it any less attractive. Here you will come across two separate terracotta temples. The main temple has got two beautiful idols of Radha & Krishna. The intricate designs & ancient sculptures on the outer walls of temples are simply jaw-dropping. Apart from cherishing these iconic temples, you can also spend some idyllic moments in the beautiful garden premises or click some engrossing photos for posting on social media. Videography is not permitted at this temple. Outside the gate of the Madanmohan Temple you will find several small shops selling a variety of terracotta items, which you can purchase as souvenirs. During my visit in the month of October, the weather was exceedingly hot. Hence, I would recommend tourists to visit this astounding temple preferably in the winter months, for a comfortable experience.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Visited in February 2022) - Madan Mohan Temple is a brilliant specimen of Bengali Chala Terracotta temple. Unlike many other temples of Bishnupur, there is a Thakur viz murti of Lord Sri Krishna in the temple. It's a bit far off from other temples of Bishnupur, but worth visiting, and one of the more complete temples still standing.
