β β β β β For local people it's good and can spend atleast and hour here. But for people who come from far distance nothing much is there here to explore.
Place is peacefull. Entry is free. Not sure about vehicle parking but in surrounding area we can park the vehicle road side.

β β β β β Peacefull place of meditation. No restriction for taking photos. They are the real monks who accept all human and animal, plant alike....you must visit and participate the meditation in your bussy life!!

β β β β β Excellent place for mediation and relaxation. No stay accommodation available. Really inspiring young Monks from different place. Good book stall for those who wants to enrich their knowledge on Buddhism.

β β β β β This is the main theravada buddhist temple in Bangalore. They have sunday dhamma talk and meditation. They run many meditation courses including 3 days, 1 week etc courses. They have a number of young monks and novices who are resident here. Major Buddhist festivals and ceremonies are celebrated here as well such as wesak buddha birthday, kathina robe ceremony etc. They run mainly on donations.
The atmosphere in the main shrine hall is very relaxing and conducive to quiet meditation. They also have a beautiful stupa where one can go around it and experience the peace.
They run a small bookshop of buddhist books and other items like buddha idols at reasonable prices, just next to the temple. It is opposite freedom park

β β β β β This is the worship centre or temple for Buddhists and general public. Every Sunday they have discourses. Felt peaceful immediately when I entered the place.

β β β β β Great place to visit for meditation and peace. Puja happening in morning and evening. Before coming call and check if any meditation program going on. I attended on Sunday from 9.30 am to 1 pm having prayer, meditation, lunch which is free cost.
You feel so relaxed and full of energy.
Four wheeler parking available outside.

β β β β β It was indeed the place for meditation and worship. I truly had wonderful experience visiting temple, which also has monastery. In middle of city, it felt like out of world and looking forward to visit again.
