I stayed in a fully furnished apartment E 304 at Mahima Nirvana, Mahapura for a period of six months. From the very beginning of our stay, we started receiving electricity consumptions which are unimaginable costing upto Rs. 5000 per month. Initially we suspected it to be a fault in meter but after finding the real cause it turned out be electricity leakage in the appliances at our apartment. As per the contract such major problems of leakage should be taken care by the owner but instead he didn’t bother to hear my words saying these are problems which a tenant should take care. Even the Mahima rental through whom I rented this apartment started giving fake promises saying they will give a solution today and tomorrow, which still now I have not received. I started loosing hope with both the owner and rental department and started solving the issue myself. These conversations between myself, owner and Mahima rental started from my second month of stay and once I lost complete hope, I informed owner and vacated the apartment. Until now, that is for a period of six months I have lost almost Rs.21000 for electricity bill and repairing, out of which owner promised to give me Rs. 3500 and that too he deducted it while giving back my security deposit. I have given back the apartment in a very good condition than the condition what I received but the owner sitting somewhere in Delhi who had upper hand with my security deposit planned to give back only 40% of my deposit. He claims the information regarding vacation of apartment should be atleast before one month which I totally agree for which I gave him the information almost two months prior through a phone call when I couldn’t resist anymore. He then told he don’t remember such a conversation at all (it’s my fault to not have it in a message proof). Further he decided to deduct one month rent from my deposit and also Rs.3500 which he initially promised to give me after knowing the problem is due to electricity leakage. Now all together I have lost Rs. 38000 and my health fighting for a solution. As a whole the society is very good but be cautious with such kind of owners. Flat number E304 to be precise. Be really careful.
