A forest to hike, cycle. Very risky as tyres get puncture easily by the thornes. Visit at your own risk. Not recommend for minor, teenagers and weak hearted. Lot of monkeys, fox, pigs, bulls around. Utmost caution is required. Weak hearted people Don't even think of going to this place Alone.

Be live or not u feel some negativity here -a quite place with sad tales of royalty of lucknow, all the inhabitants of so called fake royals, committed suicide as the tale goes. Don't visit late. It's haunted as I have known from. People

Mainly known as a haunted place, this is more of a deserted area with lots of animals roaming around amidst greenery. Yes it's a isolated place which might keep you on your toes. Not many people come here. I didn't go inside Malcha Mahal. The road that leads to the Mahal is very quiet. Right next to Malcha Mahal is Delhi Earth Station-ISRO. I wouldn't really recommend this place to someone who is looking for peace. Of course there are other places that you can explore. Here you will only find animals on the way and there is nothing constructive to see. Right now this Mahal is not even taken care of by government so the place is in bad form and unguarded.

The Mahal is seems to look haunted if you visit here in early morning but assure one thing that if you come here with your car or bike kindly bring your Driving License and all the papers as police is always on round and can check your papers anytime. The place is recommended to visit at early morning time like 5-6 A.M.

I'll not recommend you to go to Malcha Mahal Alone or after 5:00 PM, It doesn't come under surveillance of authorities so many people just go there to smoke up or to do illegal activities. Though view from top is so beautiful (you can spot Rashtrapati Bhavan from there).

Visited Malcha Mahal today which has attracted me for decades but could not able to visit due to floating of several scary stories viz. wild dogs, haunted house, living prince etc. But today visited and found it to be a cleaned mahal. It is learnt to be a hunting lodge built by Firuz Shah Tughlaq, who reigned over the Sultanate of Delhi, in 14th century . It was last occupied by members of a royal family of Oudh, Prince Riaz, and Princess Sakina, children of Princess Wilayat Mahal, the Begum of Oudh. The building is now mostly in ruins. it continued to be inhabited by the Begum's daughter Sakina Mahal, and son Prince Ali Raza (aka Cyrus). Cyrus died in late 2017; his sister died some years before him, though the exact date is unknown
