★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous beach in Ratnagiri. close to the town. too crowded every time. beautiful sunset point. Food stalls are available here. Sometimes horse rides, camel rides and bike rides are also here. Not very clean. Sometimes there should be traffic jams. This beach is called as black and white beach locally because it has black sand and white sand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beach is filthy and sand is black . Not good for swimming. But the panoramic view is quite beautiful. This also called gateway of Ratnagiri. Commercialised beach. Long walkway of one kilometre inside the sea. Benches are on both side , one can sit and enjoy cool breeze.
You can see lot of fishing boat moves in batches from nearest jetty for sailing into the high sea . View is pleasing.
