★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained, nice place, clean and good looking.. the area is very dynamic with nice arts, near to theaters.. also there are two metro lines .. the blue one and the Violet metro line. Its located near to the heart of the city.. some of colleges are nearby.

You can inter change for purple line metro as well.
The metro goes towards Vaishali/ noida electronic city and Dwarka / Dwarka sector 21.
For Violet line in goes towards YMCA Faridabad. And till kashmiri gate.
It is an underground metro station.
Outside of this metro station you will find many Govt offices like Sahitya Kala Akademi to lalit kala akademy
It is Adjacent to NSD- National school of Drama.
And right in front of Gate no 4 you will find Himanchal Bhawan.
Overall a well connected and important metro station in Delhi.

Brings back memories of college days, after 8.30 rush starts to disperse and you get into the metro and get a seat to sit.
They do have an atm once you swipe out from the gates.
Metro station change station for two lines blue & violet.
It is easily noticeable via road too.
NSD, BVB & DCA are the known colleges around the station. And many theaters auditoriums too.
