S	Shubhendra Pratap on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good venue to enjoy for a couple of days. Very near to Pune. If anyone is a new driver they can get drivers for hire at the foothill of Matheran at 200Rs per car to drive you to the Matheran entrance. Matheran has one of the biggest market if you consider for a hillstation and lots of varities. Have a good bargainer in team to save a good amt of money. Weekends are very crowded and will have to be in queue for atleast 1-2 hrs to get tickets for toy train. Trekking is fun if anyone wants to skip toy train.

Book a Cab which charge 100 Rs, ToyTrain is not Operating. U Get down at Amal Lodge from Amal Lodge you get Toy Train which charges 45 Rs (adult) take you to matheran Market . takes 15 Min.
R	Rama Krishna Hari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All points are near about same; So See One Point And Be satisfied, To see all points is somewhat tiring process. Roads To Matheran Are Very Curvy, Narrow, very Steep And Very Risky Also. Rama Mandir At Matheran Is Nice Place To Visit.
V	Vikas Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great escape for a day trip or a one night stay not too far from mumbai. Summer is at times too hot during the day like everywhere in Mumbai. And most beautiful in rainy season with waterfalls everywhere. 100rs per person for a cab ride from matheran station to the main gate on the hills. Toy train is operational only from the gate(aman lodge station) to matheran road stn with frequency of about an hour and tickets 'sold out' 40-45 mins earlier.

Please carry own food, food is lettlebit expensive But if you think about the transportation of the food ita worth the value... Rice Thali also available in hill top... Look at these photos you understand why u need must visit Matheran ❤
K	KRISHAN SINGH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is beautiful place. Amazing in monsoon. You can take toy train or go by foot. It's not worth to take horses. They will charge more and will fool you. It's better to go by foot once you reach Matheran station. For regular trekkers this place is not good. This is good for beginners.

V	Vicky Premani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hill stations you can visit near Mumbai! The best part is that there are 0 vehicles beyond Aman Lodge (which is around 45 minutes before you reach Matheran) which makes it the only place of its kind atleast in India, I guess!
