★ ★ ★ ★ ★ भारत के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति फकरुद्दीन अली अहमद का यह समाधि स्थल संसद भवन के बिल्कुल ठीक सामने है. केन्द्रीय सचिवालय मेट्रो स्टेशन के गेट नंबर 1 से महज चंद कदमो की दूरी पर यह स्थित है. संसद भवन और इस समाधि स्थल का भ्रमण एक साथ किया जा सकता है.
याद रखने वाली बात यह है कि भारत में आपातकाल की घोषणा पर फकरुद्दीन जी ने ही हस्ताक्षर किए थे और यही उस समय राष्ट्रपति थे.
This mausoleum of former President of India Fakruddin Ali Ahmed is right in front of the Parliament House. It is located just a few steps away from Gate No. 1 of the Central Secretariat Metro Station. A tour of the Parliament House and this mausoleum can be done simultaneously.
The thing to remember is that the declaration of emergency in India was signed by Fakruddin ji and it was the President at that time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you walk towards Sansad Marg (or Parliament Street) from Red Cross road, using the Sansad Chowk roundabout, you will find a small gate leading to what appears to be a small garden on your right. When you enter the small gate, you would experience what can be called a strange, almost surreal feeling. Of course, we cannot help but wonder why marks of death and the certainty that comes along with it always appears to be so magnificent to our eyes. However, it is exactly what you would feel when you enter the Mazar of India’s Late President, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed.
