Be it a daily commute to office or a ride to Airport, Meru serves all the purpose. Good Hygiene cabs and new fleet of electric vehicles is awesome. Even in this pandemic situation they are serving us with proper safety and without and extra cost or surge prices. Excellent service Meru Team keep it up.

Very bad. I had done the booking 2 days in advance. On the reporting day, suddenly before 10 minutes they say cabs are not available. Why do you guys accept the booking if you are not going to serve it. Why are you wasting our time. If you guys do not have proper infrastructure, why are you accepting the bookings.

I am forced to believe that Meru stands for providing trouble to customers, careless customer support, full of hassle travel experience, poor customer service, elonging the issues. Meru stands for dillydallying refund issues, forcing customers to waste their time for 5-10 minutes in connecting with Customer Support Team. Pathetic experience..and call center are every time for name sake..Template Answers.. whenever you ask for update or resolution, you will get answer as "We will look into it" or We have refered the case of investigation and the investigation continues for weeks and weeks.

Meru is a company involved in shady practices in association with their partners. I had availed Meru outstation cab service for a trip from 7th to 10th October 2020 for me and my parents from Mumbai to Mysore and back thinking Meru would be reliable; unfortunately, I found out it is not. During the trip, the driver was completely unprofessional. Here are some of the things he did: Β· He did not arrive on time, was not standing at the allotted location and did not contact me. I had to find out his number after repeated calls to Meru and the cab provider (Fleetlogy). Β· When we tried calling him repeatedly, he kept mentioning that he was at the right location even though he was not. Β· The name in the car's driver details (placed behind the seat) were different from the driver's name. Moreover, the driver went by three different names (Waseem, Arshad, Sohail). Β· Before the ride, I had paid the advance amount and had contacted Meru’s customer support and asked if I can pay the remaining amount at the end of the round trip and the customer support personnel said yes. The driver, however, went straight to refuelling as soon as the trip started and argued that we must pay up cash of Rs.5000 for refuelling and driver allowance as he is not aware of any advance amount paid by us and that he is not carrying any cash. When I contacted customer support, Meru’s team told me that I must pay up even though the previous customer support personnel gave a different statement. Β· During the trip, he was chewing tobacco and repeatedly spitting out the window even while driving at high speeds. On a few occasions, some droplets of saliva and gutkha landed on my face and hands. When I told him this, he did not apologize. Β· I had to assist him extensively with the route navigation as he did not know how to use Google Maps (he also did not have a phone holder and refused to use his phone for GPS navigation). I had to use my phone instead of his and had to stay awake most of the time (both day and night) to show him directions when I really should have been enjoying my trip. Β· The trip to Mysore and back to Mumbai as well took way longer than what it should have taken because of his lack of knowledge of the route. He also was not following my instructions correctly many times. Β· He was talking on the phone with someone else for quite a while, while driving at high speeds on highways. Β· While returning, he asked us if he could add another passenger to the front-seat. He mentioned that his aunt has some medical issue back in Mumbai and asked whether he could pick up his uncle from Bangalore as his uncle wanted to see her. We refused as it was unsafe to add someone we did not know, and it seemed fishy. Β· During the return trip, he stopped the car next to a petrol pump and asked for Rs.10,000 and refused to move unless we provided it to him. Β· At the end of the trip, I was charged extra and got on a call with Meru’s customer support team to understand the charges. The driver refused to open the trunk of the car and release our belongings until the full payment was made to him. I had to go to the police station for this where police personnel asked me to take it up with Meru. Β· He also created a ruckus at the dropping point and spoke to my parents in a rude tone. He was yelling in my neighbourhood drawing the attention of my neighbours to portray me and my parents in a negative light. He explicitly told us that he did a favour on us by driving. At the end of the trip, I was charged extra and the toll fees which I had already paid for were added to the bill again. After contacting Meru’s CEO and team, they apologized but did not return the additional money taken from me yet. After repeated calls and emails with their support team, they refunded me only part of the additional amount. Even after filing a complaint with National Consumer Helpline, they still lie about the charges and refuse to return the additional money taken from me.

I booked my car for pune on 6th November and they told me car will be arrived on your address on time and all car number and driver number we will provide you before one hours of the journey time. Now the point is on my time car not arrived and when I call to meru they are saying I'm sorry we don't have car and driver so your booking is canceled. I'm shocked, I thought now I whatbto do, because in pune I alreadyly book my hotel and that also I paid to hot Rs 20000 advance, as per the terms before 24 hours hotel didn't refund the amount, it means because of meru my money will be almost gone vested. The most important thing meru cab are took money from me as booking amount Rs 324, but after taking money my booking is not confirmed, then why they are taking money, just for doing fraud. Yes fraud. Because till the date my money I didn't get back in my bank account. It clear mean this is happens fraud with me. As per meru cab system they are sending back money after canceled booking in 48 hour. But I don't get money till the time. So called maru cab and asked where is money why they are not send back money in my bank account, now again the person who is on call line he is saying they need again 48 hours for checking why money not refunded to customer. This is absolutely happend FRAUD with me. Otherwise why on time my money not came in my account. Because if customer forget to cross check that only arrived or not in that case that money will be going in meru cabs pocket. I think thay are doing some kind of big fraud with public. I request to parivahan mantra please set your one team behind of this kind of cheater who doing fraud and getting money with innocent publics hard earned. Please Please Please some take up his voice on this kind of fraud.

Meru service has gone from bad to worse . Last trip.airport to residence the cab came.to pick up location 17 minutes late after 4 phone calls . The vehicle is supposed to be at pick up point before the ticket is issued . Today for airport drop inspite of getting confirmation of pick up had to call customer care and was told vehicle broke down just 4 mins prior to pick up and the driver did not pick call even 20 mins prior to pick up time . Indeed pathetic !
